How fast is Google Chrome?

Pretty damn fast as showcased brilliantly by Bartle Bogle Hegarty in their latest web film that pits the browser against a potato gun, sound waves and lightning. The tests were captured by two high-speed cameras, the 2700 frame-per-second Phantom v640 and the Phantom Gold, which shoots at 1000 fps. The edit is both interesting, witty and funny.
